On Friday, we held our annual School Cross Country event! 🎉 It was a fantastic morning filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and community spirit. Here are some highlights from the day:

👶👦 Students from every grade took part, showcasing their running skills and determination. It was wonderful to see the younger ones looking up to the older students as role models. 🌟
📣 The sidelines were buzzing with energy as classmates and family members cheered on the runners. The support from everyone truly embodied the spirit of togetherness. 🤗
🏆 Congratulations to all our top performers who crossed the finish line with outstanding times.🎖️
🤝A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped run the event smoothly. Your support is invaluable and greatly appreciated. 🙌
🌞 We were lucky to have perfect weather, which added to the enjoyment of the day. ☀️

Join the Cross-Country Running Club!

Calling all young runners! The Cross-Country Running Club is kicking off on Friday, March 7th, and will continue for three weeks leading up to the exciting OLR Cross Country Carnival.

Important Details:
When: Friday mornings at 8am
Who Can Join: Students in Years 2-6
Where: Meet outside the school office at 8am. Students will be escorted to the school oval.

Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of this energetic and friendly club! Lace up your sneakers and get ready to run. We can’t wait to see you there! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🏫 Welcoming OLR Parishioners to our School! 🏫

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our parishioners from Our Lady of the Rosary Parish The Entrance to tour our newly finished school. Among our visitors was a grandparent who is a former OLR student herself. She shared a touching reflection, as this year marks 70 years since she first walked through the doors of OLR. This year holds special significance, as it also marks the final year for her grandchildren at OLR, completing their primary school journey.

Many of our visitors had a long history with OLR. These beautiful connections underscore the enduring legacy and deep sense of community that we treasure at our school. It was a heartwarming reminder of the lasting bonds and rich history that unite us all. 💖

We are grateful for these wonderful moments that connect our past, present, and future, and we look forward to continuing to build lasting memories together! 🌟

We kicked off the school year with a beautiful opening mass, marking the start of new beginnings and cherished traditions. Our school captains and sports captains proudly received their badges, ready to lead with enthusiasm and dedication.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Brown and Mrs. Moore for their exceptional planning, and to everyone who contributed to making this celebration so special. We would also like to thank Fr. Brian and Deacon Rosan for leading us in mass.

It's hard to believe that it's only been two weeks

It's hard to believe that it's only been two weeks since our kindergarten students began their big school adventure! They are settling in remarkably well, embracing each day with enthusiasm and curiosity.

The children are having an absolute blast getting to know their Year 5 buddies! Watching these friendships blossom is truly heartwarming and we are excited to see how our kindy kids continue to grow and thrive in the coming weeks.

Their eagerness to learn and explore is inspiring, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way. Here's to a fantastic year ahead! 🌈🎉👫
