In Week 4, on Friday, 8th November, we will be coming together to celebrate Light Up the Day for Kay! This event supports Central Coast Kids in Need which helps make Christmas a little brighter for children in our community.

We’re asking each family to bring in one NEW, unwrapped gift for a child aged between 5 and 12. These gifts could be toys, games, books—anything that would bring a smile to a child’s face this Christmas.

Please remember to bring your gift by Wednesday, 6th November, and keep them in your classrooms. Our SRC Leaders will collect them and organise everything.

Let’s all get involved to help make this a special time for kids who need it most and let’s make Light Up the Day for Kay a huge school community success!

Last Friday, the school transformed into a vibrant sea of colour for Crazy Sock Day. It was a joyful event marked by creativity and community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone for your enthusiastic participation and generous support of Crazy Sock Day. Your contributions made a significant impact, and as a community, you raised $650.55. These donations will go a long way in supporting the initiatives of Catholic Mission.

In Term 3, the Kindergarten class embarked on a magical journey into the world of Fairytales! To celebrate their newfound knowledge, the children dressed up as their favorite fairytale characters, bringing stories to life with vibrant costumes. The day was filled with enchanting activities that sparked creativity and imagination.

The celebration concluded with a delightful picnic, where family members joined in to share the joy and marvel at the children’s wonderful achievements. A truly memorable day for all!

Netball Gala Day Success! Towards the end of Term

Netball Gala Day Success!

Towards the end of Term 3, our school participated in the Regional Netball Gala Day, sending both our boys' and girls' teams to compete. The boys' team performed brilliantly, finishing third in their draw. They fought hard in a thrilling semi-final that went into extra time but narrowly missed out on a win. However, they bounced back to claim victory in their next game.

Our girls' team dominated their pool, going undefeated throughout the day. After winning their semi-final, they took home the grand final trophy! Their outstanding effort has earned them a spot in the state finals, which will take place in November at Homebush.

Congratulations to both teams for their fantastic performances, and good luck to the girls as they prepare for the state finals!

Yesterday our Snr Girls relay team received some incredible yet unexpected news in that they have qualified to compete at the NSWPSSA Championships at Olympic Park next month!

The girls screamed with excitement when they heard the news, and we are so incredibly proud of their achievements so far and will be cheering them on at the next level!
Congratulations girls! What an incredible way to close out your final year of primary school.

Over the past four weeks, our Year 3 children, alo

Over the past four weeks, our Year 3 children, along with other candidates and their parents, have been diligently preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. These meaningful sessions were held at the Parish and expertly led by our wonderful Parent Engagement Coordinator, Colleen Smith, who also serves as the Parish Sacramental Coordinator.

Throughout these sessions, Colleen provided invaluable support to the parents, guiding and educating them on the significance of Confirmation and what it means to receive the Holy Spirit. Each child actively participated in creating the "Tree of Life" by adding leaves and the fruits of the spirit, along with their chosen Gift of the Holy Spirit. This beautiful tree will be on display in the church when the children make their Confirmation in November.

A huge thank you goes out to Colleen and the dedicated teachers who supported her. We deeply appreciate all the support you provide to the families in our community during their faith journey. Your commitment and effort make a significant difference, and we are truly grateful.

We can't believe we are in the final week of Term 3. What an amazing term it has been! From exciting projects to fun-filled events, we've truly enjoyed every moment spent learning and growing together.

This term, Year 6 have been participating in Girl Squad, a group designed to empower and support girls through friendship, self-confidence, and personal growth. It provides a safe space where they can build strong relationships, learn valuable life skills, and develop a positive mindset. A huge thank you to @girl.squadofficial for such an amazing program! #

I absolutely love being part of Girl Squad! It’s not just about having fun; it’s about growing together as a team. We dive into exciting activities like boxing, dancing, and netball, which keeps us active and engaged. All of our sessions also include meditation, helping us find balance and peace. What’s even more amazing is that we get support from an inspiring mentor who guides us through the changes in our bodies and helps us build lasting friendships. On Tuesday, 17th September, the Diocesan Public Speaking Grand Final was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Pymble where the top 12 finalists across all Broken Bay Clusters gathered to compete.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Ally R, from Year 6, placed 3rd overall! Out of all the participating schools and over 1,000 students, Ally’s outstanding performance earned her this remarkable achievement. Congratulations, Ally, on your hard work and dedication – your school community is extremely proud of you!

A huge congratulations to our Snr Girls relay team (Darcie, Eloise, Florence and Harper) who finished fourth in the 4 x 100m final at Polding Athletics Carnival on Friday.

After qualifying seventh, they ran an amazing PB of 57.38 (nearly two seconds quicker than the Central Coast Zone record they broke a few weeks ago).
